Vets Medicover is an independent provider of lifetime pet insurance cover. It offers fixed premiums: £15 for cats, £28 for dogs and £38 for selected dog breeds. Vet fees are covered up to £10,000 per year, each year as long as you renew your policy. There’s also a 30 day waiting period where illnesses will only be covered 1 month after the inception of the policy.
Easy to buy, great level of cover. This company is a bit different but I like the way it’s working.
Fantastic company to deal with and claims paid promply and direct to vet. Would well recommend I have been most impressed and so was my vet.
5 months after taking it out had to make a claim very quick payment direct to vet no problems now have all 3 of my dogs insured with Vets Medicover. Good price great service.
We took out insurance last year for a premium of £20 on our 3yr old dog. No claims or injuries during year and yet this year premiums are £28 – a 40 percent increase. We are going elsewhere this year before we have a claim and find it impossible to move with a pre existing condition.
