Ive been with the kc hcp for going on 9yrs,i now have 3 dogs insured with them, ive never had any problems with claims being settled(direct to my vet)nor my premiums doubling,,ive not claimed for a while though. they are asking me for £420 for my yr old shep which is just to much(imo),now shopping about for a better deal. x

Excellent service. I found the customer service team very helpful and sympathetic. Forms were easy to complete for our claim. The money was in my bank account for both very expensive Vet bill and the cost of replacing the dog before I had recieved the email to advise me that they would be paying me the money within the next few days!! I cannot fault their service but then again I am sure it all depends on the circumstances of your claim. I was with PetPlan and they did not pay out for my claim! so I was not very happy with this company at all, dreadfall service!!!!they are one of those who will try to avoid apying out if they can in my opinion.

Dreadful company!! Too much to explain here, avoid them like the plague. Go to review centre and look up pet insurance. This says it all. Am taking them to Financial Ombudsman Service. Try Pet Plan brilliant!!

Absolutely dreadful. On the death of my pet charged 11 months remaining premiums and deducted them from the payout. Charged excesses on a each visit to the vet/specialist for the same illness. Totally incompetent. Was still sending me messages about my pet after it had died. Minus 10 in all categories.

Very expensive! My premium for my dog, a 6 year old Lab, has gone up to £1159 this year – £565 last year! S he has had a couple of claims but nothing huge. Can’t understand this price – especially as you now have to pay £65 + 10% of every claim!

Great service. Sent my claim form off and within a week the money was in my account! No hastle atall when phoning their call centre, all the staff I dealt with were very friendly. To make it even better after claiming the monthly payments aren't going up.
